What does a ticket to Horsens Medieval Festival cost?

Entrance is free at Horsens Medieval Festival.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks with you into the festival area, but there are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy delicious medieval food or a jug of beer. If you bring your own food and drinks, please help us by sorting your trash in the correct garbage bins.

Can I bring my dog to the festival?

Yes, you are allowed to bring your dog into the festival area, but it must be kept on a leash. We ask you to be aware that there are a great number of people and animals in the festival area; therefore the many sounds, smells, and other impressions can be overwhelming for a dog.

Where can I park?

There are designated parking areas at Priorsløkkevej, Viborgvej og by Hede Nielsens Vej.
Parking costs 50DDK and can be paid with cash or Mobile Pay

Are there any disability parking spots?

Yes. Disability parking spots can be found at Fussingsvej, by the main entrance to the festival area and FÆNGSLET.

Can I withdraw cash at the festival?

Yes, there is an ATM in the festival area.

What happens to forgotten things?

If you have forgotten or lost something during Horsens Medieval Festival, contact the Culture and Event department at Horsens Municipality at  +45 76 29 23 00 or kultur@horsens.dk.

How do I get around in the festival area?

Some paths in the festival area are covered with wood chips, and can be hard for wheelchairs and baby strollers to drive on. Therefore, we have made sure that there also chipless and accessible paths for visitors on wheels.
