Bakchus

Medieval music band Bakchus was
established in 2006 and has performed hundreds of concerts in many European
countries. The four members of the band are professional musicians from
Prague and Brno, with a wide range of experience from all music genres (classic,
musicals, jazz etc.). Their repertoire comprises of European dances and songs
from the 12th to 16th centuries. Its instrumentation consists of replicas of
period instruments (shawm, bagpipes, gemshorns, quintern, cittern, lute,
harp, vielle). Bakchus band is also involved in recording TV shows and films
(The Musketeers – BBC, Letter for the King) and computer games (Kingdome Come
Deliverance).
