Are you a stallholder?

The stallholder application for 2026 is open. Apply here.

Please include the following information in your application:

• The association / stall holder name.
• Contact information.
• VAT registration number or Social Security Number.
• The quantity and size of your tents and/or stalls. It would be useful if you can attach a sketch of the layout of your space.
• Do you need to rent stalls from the Festival organisers?
• Do you need access to electricity? How many watts do you need? Please specify the electrical appliances you have?
• Will you have a bonfire? Will you use barbecue or gas? Please include the quantity and sizes.
• Will you sell food and drinks? Will you offer activities? Please include specifics, pictures and source material.
• Do you want to stay overnight in the booth? If yes, how many people?
• Do you have plans to sell or carry weapons during the Festival?

Please fill in the information as detailed and accurately as possible. We use your information for the layout of the Festival site and for information in the Festival’s program.

At Horsens Medieval Festival we are passionate about representing the Middle Ages. In order to participate in the Festival, your stall or camp must represent a trade stall or field camp from the Middle Age period 1050-1536. Your stall or camp must therefore not contain props, materials, and goods from other ages such as the Viking Age, the Renaissance etc.

If you wish to apply as a stallholder at Horsens Medieval Festival, please let us know no later than 
February 16^th   2026

It is generally free to participate as a craftsman or reenactor at Horsens Medieval Festival if you have ONLY VERY MINIMAL SALES and instead contribute to the historical dissemination by offering at least one of the following types of activities:

1. Historical dissemination and reenactment (e.g., daily camp life, etc.)

2. Demonstration of crafts (e.g., basket weaving, blacksmithing, etc.)

3. Guest involvement (e.g., activities guests can participate in, open workshops, etc.)

As a craftsman or reenactor group at Horsens Medieval Festival, it is free to participate with a stall/tent/camp. The festival also provides food tickets for use during the two festival days.

Do you wish to participate as a craftsman or a reenactor at Horsens Medieval Festival?
Write to us at bodholder@horsens.dk with a description of:

– What kind of dissemination or activity you will be offering at the festival
– Text for the program
– Description of products for sale and/or the extent of your sales
– How many members are in your group

The festival will then assess whether you can participate as a historical interpreter/craftsman/reenactor at Horsens Medieval Festival
