Entrance is free at Horsens Medieval Festival.
Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks with you into the festival area, but there are also plenty of opportunities to enjoy delicious medieval food or a jug of beer. If you bring your own food and drinks, please help us by sorting your trash in the correct garbage bins.
Yes, you are allowed to bring your dog into the festival area, but it must be kept on a leash. We ask you to be aware that there are a great number of people and animals in the festival area; therefore the many sounds, smells, and other impressions can be overwhelming for a dog.
There are designated parking areas at Priorsløkkevej, Viborgvej og by Hede Nielsens Vej.
Parking costs 50DDK and can be paid with cash or Mobile Pay
Yes. Disability parking spots can be found at Fussingsvej, by the main entrance to the festival area and FÆNGSLET.
Yes, there is an ATM in the festival area.

Are you walking?
You can reach the festival in 15-20 minutes from the train station. The walk is about 1,5 km.
You can walk from the city centre (Søndergade/Bytorv Horsens) to the festivalsite in about 20 minutes. The walk is about 2 km.
Are you arriving in bus?
Busline 9 from Horsens Bus terminal/Horsens transtation will take you to one of the entries north of the festival area. The stop is called Priorsløkkevej.
During the festival extra busses will be going from the city to the festival site.
Are you arriving by car?
Set your GPS to FÆNGSLET (Fussingsvej 8, 8700 Horsens) and follow the parking guides directions.

Wheelchairs and walking difficulties
Some paths of the festival area are covered with wooden chips, and can be hard to walk, as well as difficult to access for wheelchair users and baby strollers. Therefore, we have accessible chipless paths for visitors on wheels and people with walking difficulties.
