The Irish wolfhounds – hear their story and meet the dogs up close

As always, you can visit the Irish wolfhounds during the festival’s opening hours in their camp in the children’s area Buen. But this year you can also get close to dogs when they are shown. Learn about the history of wolfhounds, what they were used for in the Middle Ages, how the breed was saved on the brink of extinction and what the dogs’ role is today.
