When Pøbel takes the stage, it's not just a concert! The audience is sucked into the noisy inns, dusty marketplaces and nocturnal debauchery of the Middle Ages, where music drives the dancing, the mead flows, and stories live in every note. With the lute, fedel, bagpipes, skalmeje, lafta and davul and darbouka, Pøbel creates a raw and traditional soundscape. The music is authentically medieval, but the energy is alive, present and contagious like at a modern folk festival and the audience feels it from the first beat of the drum.
