21. - 22. August 2020
On august 21. and 22. 2020 it is time for Horsens Medieval Festival to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
With around 60.000 guests Horsens Medieval Festival is one of the biggest of its kind i Northern Europe. More than 1.000 people are involved in creating the festival.
This spring we have given the festival a bit of a makeover with a new look, new website and a new name. From now on the official name for the festival is no longer European Medieval Festival but Horsens Medieval Festival.
But don’t worry, the festival will be the same.
You can walk the 1.5km directly from Horsens Train Station to FÆNGSLET in about 15-20 minutes. You can also walk the 2km along the pedestrian streets (Søndergade / Bytorv Horsens) to FÆNGSLET in about 20 minutes.
You can take the number 9 bus from Horsens Trafikterminal (the railway station) or the city centre and to Priorsløkkevej just north of the Festival area. During the Festival, extra buses will run on this route. You can find the current schedule and route for the number 9 bus here.
The Festival is held at FÆNGSLET, which is close to junction 56, Horsens V, on the E45 motorway.
